Digital illustration and typography created as part of 'It's Not Rocket Science': Care for Contemporary Creatives. This body of work for my MA Illustration degree explored attitudes around creative careers and how we can care for ourselves as creative professionals. When meetings, deadlines, and workload collide during a busy period, the flurry of emails and messages can become overwhelming. It can be difficult to stick to your priority task, when another is actively awaiting your reply. Sometimes you want to just hide in a corner, away from it all.

[image description: Digital illustration. On the left, an abandoned workspace shows half finished art on a laptop, various sticky notes of to-do lists, and a phone flooded with a stream of new messages and notifications. To the left, a figure sits cross-legged in a dark corner, elbows on their lap, tightly pulling their hoodie down over their face. Against the dark floor, white text reads: “Not available right now… sorry”, in a combination of cut-out and hand drawn typography. ]
